826DC Story Starters

826DC is a youth writing program based in DC. For my Graphic Design and Illustration Studio course, our class created a deck of story starter cards for the program. The students submitted ideas for characters, objects, and places, and we each chose a few of them and illustrated them. I chose to illustrate a butterfly emerging from a cocoon, a beetle, a toilet, and a treehouse.

Additionally, along with a small team, I wrote copy for and used illustrations by classmates to design the instruction pamphlet.
